Movie Themed Birthday Party

This was a fun party to plan.  I created tickets for each of the children, to serve as invitations for the party.  We had a slumber party for all of the boys but this could also be done as an afternoon party. 
We used a projector and cleared off a wall to show the movie, just like having our own theater in the house.  During warmer months you could also show the movie outside for a drive in movie effect by using your garage door, or hang a white sheet to show the movie. Maybe have a neighborhood block party and all the kids could ride their bikes to the viewing at dusk! 
Each child received a goodie bag. I purchased popcorn containers like the one shown below from one of our local dollar stores, and filled them with mini bags of microwave popcorn, movie sized boxes of candy, and other little party favors.  The kids had a great time and it kept them entertained, quiet, and calm before bedtime!
